Dr. John Hypoallergenic lamb with rice and vegetables

I decided to try this Hypoallergenic Lamb with Rice (Frenchies are also often said to be allergic to chicken), and so far this Dr John brand food has been brilliant. Each flattened circular piece of kibble is about 13mm in diameter and 5mm deep, and it is easily chewed and swallowed by the Frenchie. Both dogs have been on it for about a month to date, and both dogs are doing well on it - nice firm poos! Anony

I recently (4 weeks) switched my 2 yr old German Shepherd over from a expensive brand to this as he was bored the food. My daughter recommended this as the use it at the Kennels where she works. He absolutely loves it and always clears his bowls. There’s been no troubles With his stomach or toileting. I would also say there’s been less poops and better , firmer ones. Which is important. He has this along side a small serving of meat. His coat is looking in great health still. There has been no itching and his eye problem has cleared up. (Re occurant conjunctivitis) I can highly recommend this food. Kel

I bought this due to my German Shepherd having regular ear infections which the Vet said could be down to her having an allergy to certain food products such as Beef and Chicken products. I have been using this for about a month now and so far so good and no ear problems. She does seem to enjoy it too which is a bonus. Tony
